Privacy Policy

Weston James Group ("we," "us," "our") is a real estate team led by Weston Littlefield (CA DRE# 02053581), affiliated with AKG | Christie's International Real Estate (AKGRE Inc., CA DRE# 01527644). This policy explains what personal information we collect through WestonJamesGroup.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and enquiry forms. When you use a contact or enquiry form on the Site (for example, to ask about a property, request a private showing, or get in touch), we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message. These forms are processed by our website host, Webflow, and delivered to us by email.
• Saved searches and saved homes. The Site shows a preview of a feature for saving searches and homes. At this time it is a preview only: it does not send or store any information you enter. If we turn this feature on, we will update this policy before it collects any information.
• Future chat features. If we offer a chat or concierge feature on the Site in the future, it will display its own notice explaining how your conversation is handled before you use it.

Information collected automatically

• Property search activity. When you search listings, the search criteria you choose (for example city or ZIP code, price range, beds, baths, and architectural style) are sent from your browser to our listing service so that matching homes can be shown. These searches are not linked to your name.
• Device and usage data. This includes your browser and device type, IP address, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit.
• Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses Google Analytics (measurement IDs G-K1WWVLNQ3Y and UA-233909975-1), which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the Site. We do not currently use advertising pixels or other third-party tracking tools.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and arrange showings;
• provide real estate brokerage services;
• send you information you have asked for;
• operate, secure, and improve the Site;
• comply with legal, licensing, and MLS obligations.

Email marketing. We do not currently send marketing emails or newsletters. If we begin doing so, we will send them only in line with the CAN-SPAM Act, every message will include a working unsubscribe link, and we will honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only:

• with our brokerage, AKG | Christie's International Real Estate;
• with service providers that work on our behalf, such as website hosting (Webflow), analytics (Google), and our listing data provider (Repliers);
• with other parties to a transaction (for example, a cooperating agent, escrow, or lender), only with your direction;
• when required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Listing information (MLS / IDX)

Listing information on the Site is provided through the IDX program of The MLS™ – Combined L.A./Westside MLS (CLAW). © The MLS™ – Combined L.A./Westside MLS (CLAW). All rights reserved. All data, including all measurements and calculations of area, is obtained from various sources and has not been, and will not be, verified by broker or MLS. All information should be independently reviewed and verified for accuracy. Properties may or may not be listed by the office/agent presenting the information. IDX information is provided exclusively for personal, non-commercial use, and may not be used for any purpose other than to identify prospective properties consumers may be interested in purchasing. Information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Some IDX listings have been excluded from this website.

When you send a request about a listing, it goes to Weston James Group, not to the listing agent, unless we tell you otherwise.

5. Cookies and your choices

• You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Do Not Track. The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may give you the right to:

• know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
• access and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete it;
• opt out of its sale or sharing;
• limit the use of sensitive personal information.

As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

7. Data retention and security

We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
