Garcia House

The Garcia House was designed by John Lautner and built in 1962. The home underwent a historic restoration by Marmol Radziner, with a focus on preserving its original details and functionality.

Its features include a lava rock entryway, original terrazzo flooring, the signature parabolic roof and a 55-foot wall of windows. Sixty-foot caissons raise the structure above the canyon, with panoramic views of Los Angeles.

Steps descend the hillside through a garden designed by landscape architect John Sharp to the pool, built in 2008 to Lautner’s original design.
